Workplace Conflict Expert: I work with public and private sector clients to address and prevent workplace conflict. I serve as an outside trusted expert on the causes and curs for workplace conflict. My work includes individual "conflict coaching", group facilitiation, team building, and assessment of conflict systems. Mediation Skills: I am a Certified Mediation Practitioner (Pierce County Center for Dispute Resolution, 1997). I have served on mediation panels for: EEOC, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Private Party mediations, Washington State Superior and District Court Settlement Conferences, Community Mediation Centers, Pierce County Small Claims court, and ADRSystems. I currently serve organizational clients as a private consultant, mediator, and group facilitator. Curriculum Development and Training: I create training programs that are informative, interactive, and dynamic. I have developed curriculum in these topics: Conflict Resolution in the Workplace, Conflict Resolution in Life, 40 hour Basic Mediation Training (Training and Materials for private clients and Pierce County Center for Dispute Resolution), Dealing with Explosive Situations, Employment mediations and Cultural diversity, and Conflict on Campus- Alternative Dispute Resolution in Public Schools. My audiences have included: Attorneys, Community Members, Business Owners, Students, School District Personnel, Law Enforcement Officers, Department of Corrections Officers, Military EEO Officers, Elected Officials, Social Workers, Union Members, Human Resource Personnel, Higher Education employees, Managers and Supervisors. Keynote Speaking: I regularly speak at local and national conferences on the topics of Conflict Resolution, Leadership and Teaming.
